As a child, my mother took us to church meetings and I can recall giving my life to Christ several times, the new life may not have reflected by the standards of the world, but the seed had been sown. In 2003, I went with my friend to visit his Pastor, during the course of discussion, the Pastor's wife asked what church I attended, I told her I was a catholic and would like to remain so, she replied that we were all Catholics, just not roman Catholics and she said that I will soon join them.
During our ride back, my friend's friend who was in the car asked me to repeat after him, he led me in the salvation prayer. I did not immediately get committed in any church, I still continued to go to catholic church.
On the 1st of June, I visited the same friend Tope and he informed me that he was going to a leader's meeting in church, I offered to see him off to church, as we approached Christ Embassy Karu, Abuja, it started to rain and I could not get any form of transport to take me home. I decided to join the meeting.
During the meeting, there were several ministers but the message on giving caught my attention, I resolved to return the next day. As we left, I saw a beautiful car parked and I asked who owned it, I was told that it belonged to the Haven Governor and my friend took the opportunity to talk to me about the cell system, I also decided to join The Haven.
I returned the next day a clear two hours before the meeting started and Pastor Dipo Fisho called me to have a chat, I told him I was visiting and we'll see how things go, the meetings were very informative, I had never heard the Word of God like this before. On Friday, I came for prayer meeting, on Saturday I came for evangelism and by my first Sunday I came to church with a first timer that I had won, I also attended cell meeting and as it was the first meeting of the month(prayer and planning), I participated in the planning, by the last cell meeting, I received recognition for my commitment.
I have since been committed in the BLW ministry. .
