Before I got born again, I simply go to church every Sunday as a routine. I was still living with my family in Lagos, my Christianity had no substance or color; I was just hanging in there up until I got born again fourteen years ago.
I recall I was still a student at the time and an altar call was made in one of our Sunday services and I was led in my spirit to step out. I said the salvation prayers that day and gave my life to Christ.
I had serious employment challenges, after giving my life to Christ; I was jobless and frustrated. I had to move down to Port Harcourt; I secured a Job and it so happened that there is a Christ Embassy Church right opposite my office.
The nature of my job is time consuming and it entails working on Sundays. After all hue and cry to the management to find ways of skipping Sundays and making it a resting day for the staff appeared futile.
Consequently, I had to bring extra clothing to the office so I can attend services with the Christ Embassy close to my office. I have never worshiped in Christ Embassy Church in my life before but for proximity concerns I decided to give it a try.
The first service was captivating, intriguing, attention grasping and I couldn’t help myself; I was imbued with the Holy Ghost.
After my first worship with Christ Embassy Model Church opposite my office, my life has been transfigured and I have been awakened to the realities of the word of God.
I have started foundation class and presently in class 1.
