First of all, I’d like to appreciate this wonderful opportunity to give my tale of salvation to my wonderful Pastor Chris.
In my upbringing, I was a naughty and selfish child who knew no boundaries although my parents were born again and leaders in church, but I had respect for them.
I knew God because I grow up going to Sunday school and loved him for what I was told about him.
I have refused to be born again several times because I knew, I’ll loss my reputation from my friend and I’ll have to act a part of his body.
I’d feel the Holy Ghost and an appointment in me during the altar call but I’d reject it. But I knew that my time has come and it wasn’t so long after I’ve finished my studies and moved in with my cousin in Pretoria, I was introduces to Christ Embassy Pretoria West and met Pastor Obed and Refilwe Khalidzwe, by then they were co-ordinators.
But the strange thing, I’ve discovered with my cousin, he thought I was already born again and I wondered why? Pastor Obed did an altar call again and I felt the appointment and again I rejected it and this started to annoy me because I knew and wanted to be born again.
My chest was filled with the word and my spirit was willing to receive Christ as my Lord and saviour.
It was one afternoon watching TBN and one of the minister was preaching and he made an alter call and miraculously my hand was up to receive and there and there I confessed Jesus as Lord in my life in 2007.
