I was born in a Christian home. Brought up by a committed to church activities parents.
I grew up to know my mum as a business woman and a committed choir member so also my dad and he made all of to love music. I grew up being committed to the children's church, learning a lot about Jesus, his crucifixion and Resurrection.
Always sang special numbers in church with my twin sister Mabel and my elder brother Gbenga always played the organ for us. So i was known to be a church girl from the on set but Alas! I had never heard the word being born again in my life at this time until I was 11years old when I just entered secondary school.
Then, I met some of my seniors in class 4 who on the break time took it upon themselves to always go preaching to the class 1 students. I was busy looking for my twin sister during the break time on this very day after which she shouted my name and ran to tell me that she had been with some seniors who came to preach to her and now she is born again.
She then told them about me and I was also introduced to this small gathering of 40mins the following day. I attended the meeting during the break time and I heard words of salvation like I never did.
An alter call was made and I knew I had to give my heart to Jesus and I got Born Again and the story of the Pentecost day that I had heard about in children's church became a reality on that day, I spoke in tongues, fell under the power with my sister though when I saw her on the floor I felt she was dead, never seen this in my life, when she got up I heard her speaking in tongues as well. For the first time I was told that I have received power to perform signs and wonders.
Since then, Christianity became more meaningful to me. Its more than just going to church regularly and being called good girl.
When I got admission into higher Institution, I came in contact with these sets of Christian from Believers' Loveworld. I loved their love for God and I'm privileged to be used by God since then till date.
I continued therein till now and I have never regretted serving the Lord. He is the saviour of my soul.
I love him so much. I am married with 3 children and we are serving the Lord.
Its good to know the Lord Jesus. .
