Do not be moved by circumstances, only the Word of God, part two
Comment (1)
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. "
Another testimony that follows is kind of connected to this, I did not really want the extra hours because I enjoyed work as I did not like going up and down the stairs as much, but praise God He made the days warm so that many people stayed outside so that I did not have to go up the stairs as much, hallelujah.
After a while my hours started to be cut again. I was not getting long hour shifts like before (such as 12:00-23:00), so they were still being spread through out the week which was good, but the hours were getting cut.
I did not complain as I read that complaining is a sin. I could of politely asked for more hours but to be honest I was happy because I was not enjoying the stairs and knew that all things worked together for my good.
I only wanted more hours in the first place to get more money so that I could pay my rent, gas and electricity bills and all the other bills that I needed to pay for. God is good! I went in to work one day when I never had work, it was just to buy some food.
My manager was outside cleaning the tables. We were talking for a bit and then he asked me if I was ok for money.
According to what I could see in my bank account with my physical eyes I could of said 'No, I'm broke and I really need some money to pay all my bills,' but I did not bring myself to say it, praise God. I refused to look at my physical circumstances and instead proclaimed, 'yes I am ok thank you,' praise God.
See I had been confessing so much that my finances was well that it was near impossible for me to say anything different. Luke 6: 45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
" My manager then offered to give me two days holiday pay (although I was not going on holiday and had not asked for it) I was so thankful, thanking God, even better, when I received my payment, my boss had given me four days holiday instead of two, what a lovely surprise from my Father. God had given me four days instead of two as I had originally thought.
I thanked Him again. You know just before I put my card into the bank to check how much I got I said 'praise God,' to myself out loud.
I was just thanking Him again because I was praising Him for the two days extra holiday not knowing at all that it was actually four. I Also thanked my boss the next time I went in to work again.
In total I did five hours work for the whole week but got paid 34 hours :) Blessed be His Holy name now and forever more, God. .
