When i really started living

Comment (0)

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my salvation story with you. I thank God for loving me so much.

As i was growing up, i used to attend church with my cousin who was at that time in choir at a religious church. This church was where most of my family fellowship-ed.

In my fifth grade i moved to live in another town. This however did not stop me from continuing attending church.

I was just in-love with God's word and the worship. In this new town i wandered from church to church because the church i used to attended from 1st grade was not in this particular town.

I also got bored of staying at one church for too long. In my 9th grade as i was watching television (DSTV) i decided to look for new channels to watch.

On this one channel a pastor was preaching and i just loved the way He talked about God and every word he said made sense to me. I learned later when i got to know what time he is viewed that its Pastor Chris .

He talked about receiving salvation. After watching Pastor Chris for several days i told my family that i wish to become born again.

The response i received was not the one i expected, they told me i was way too young to become born-again. I have not learned anything or experienced any difficulty in life yet.

Why would i want to be born again. So i decided since i don't know and people older then me don't know i should do research.

I remained unsaved. Then i started to attend revived churches.

This proceeded throughout my high school. I came to university and started to attend my family church again.

I fell in-love with my classmate but he was not really into girls. So i asked myself how will i be able to know this guy better.

As we were doing group assignments one day i told me that he use to see me on Sundays. I thought this must be the sign, so we started talking about church.

So he told me about a friend of his that is born again and he said " I think you guys would be great friends. He gave me his friends number and so i started chatting with his friend with the intention of getting to know him better.

His friend invited me to his church and i gave my life to Christ that day. I believe because i still did not understand three months later i gave my life to Christ again in town this time around.

A month later God send a man of God to my rescue and He invited me to BLW cell meeting. There i was filled with the holy spirit and since then i have been attending Christ embassy.

I life has been totally changed, boredness has disappeared and my life is just exciting. I'm living in his glory and i am victorious in all i do.

God has made me a soul-winner. My life is given a meaning.

Praise God. .
