Thank you pastor for this privilege to share my testimony with the whole world.
I grew up as an Anglican boy and i was committed in the church without a future or purpose and i didn't even know why we go to the church,i just find my self there on Sundays and other service days.
my dad was religious and my mum doesn't even know God.
As a young lad in the secondary school,i didn't know JESUS CHRIST even though i thought i was a christian.
one day in school in Nigeria,Lagos in particular,a senior who was my proprietress' son preached to myself and two of my friends and we believed and we gave our lives to CHRIST but yet without knowledge.
The next day,i and my two new converted friends went to our seniors class to preach to them about JESUS CHRIST.
In my school then,when i was in jss 1 class, that was a dangerous thing to do because it can cost you a lot. our seniors were very wicked,but we summoned courage and we went in to them but to our greatest surprise when we got into their class, we went to two of them and we weren't punished.
This gave us great joy as we left.
After two days,we went back to our normal school boy's life and forgot about JESUS.
But years later after i had
graduated,i had stopped going to church for more than 5 years and my dad was always on my neck to go to church but instead of going to church,i would go to the field on Sunday morning to watch those that are playing football or sometimes i will delay till 10:15am since i knew that the service will end by 11am,since i don't attend the same church with my dad.
My friend invited me to his church and i eventually became a member.
one day i was sitting outside with my friends and two soul winners walked up to us and preached to us,but i noticed that when they were talking to us,i was the only one listening to their words but we were about 5.
They didn't lead us to CHRIST but they reminded me about JESUS and i felt that i want to know HIM more because of the way those people quoted scriptures.
when i got to church that Sunday,an evangelist came to our church and after his ministration,there was an altar call but i didn't want to go because i was thinking what my friends will think of me,but in the process of time,my buttock became hot. i suddenly walked up to the altar and confessed JESUS CHRIST as my LORD and my PERSONAL SAVIOUR.
I started vibrating on the altar and a power flowed through me that made me really cry and i could not control the tears.
On friday night i was filled with the HOLY SPIRIT and i spoke in tongues.
And since then,i have been serving JESUS. THANKYOU.
